About Me
Finding someone to trust with some of the most intimate aspects of your life can be overwhelming for anyone. I find it important to share parts of my personal journey to shine light on why I choose to be present as a therapist walking with others through some of the most difficult and challenging experiences. Throughout my career I have experienced blue collar work, eventually arriving in business and finance with a goal to help others reach financial freedom. During this time I heard many stories from many families and the common denominator was the psychological difficulties people face throughout their life. I chose to walk away from my career and move towards a vocation as a psychotherapist. Pulling from my love of deep conversation and connection, appreciation of arts, music, and all creativity, compassion, kindness and the ability to forgo judgment in order to simply listen and understand who someone truly is. My own life experiences inform my current practice including my work with elders experiencing dementia, outpatient psychotherapy, inpatient psychiatric hospital work, working with American Indian and Alaskan Native community through the Cowlitz Indian Tribe, and many lessons handed down to me from the various teachers I have had throughout the years.
Individual Psychotherapy
Starting therapy can be both exciting and overwhelming. My goal is to approach this new journey with you in a relationship based on trust and authenticity. Therapy is a vessel where integration, growth, and truth have a chance to come to the surface. Because of the importance of the relationship in any form of therapy, I offer a free phone consultation to ensure we will work well together.
Telehealth
To be respectful of the safety concerns we all have concerning Covid-19, I am currently offering telehealth to all clients. As the situation progresses, in office visits can be discussed on a case by case basis taking into account the rate of transmission as well as each client's personal health concerns. Please feel free to reach out to me for more information regarding ways to engage in therapy.

I am currently in network with the following insurance companies; Aetna, Lifewise, Firsth Choice, Kaiser, United, Premera, and Regence and many other plans. Please reach out to see if I am in network with your insurance. I may be in network with other insurance companies and please contact me for more up to date information. If I am not in network with your insurance company you may still receive some partial coverage and I will help you in submitting out-of-network claims to your insurer.
